In Treatment of Nausea Promez Syrup blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused due to some medicines or any other medical treatment. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably. The dose will depend on what you are being treated for but always take this medicine as it is prescribed. In Treatment of Allergic conditions Promez Syrup is used to treat many different inflammatory and allergic conditions. It works by lowering your immune system’s response to these conditions and prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It helps relieve symptoms such as swelling, pain, itching, and other allergic-type reactions. If you are not sure why you are being given this medicine, ask your doctor. This medicine is given orally (by mouth). You should always take it as it has been prescribed for you. Do not stop taking it without your doctor’s advice. This can cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Because this medicine weakens your immune system, you should avoid being near people who are ill or have infections. In Treatment of Motion sickness Motion sickness is a condition caused due to motion during travel. You may experience spinning sensation (vertigo), nausea or vomiting as a result of this condition. Promez Syrup helps treat these symptoms effectively. Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get maximum benefit.
Promez Syrup is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Promez Syrup is recommended. Discuss with your child’s doctor thoroughly before giving Promez Syrup to your child in case of severe kidney disease
Promez Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Promez Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Promez Syrup is not recommended in children with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
