Emigan Injection is used to treat nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness, or maybe before and after any surgery. It is also used in combination with other medicines to treat severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis). Emigan Injection is given as an injection under the supervision of healthcare professionals. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. You must inform your doctor if symptoms do not improve within 7 days of the treatment. The most common side effects of this medicine include dry mouth, blur vision, headache, and feeling dizzy. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. It makes the skin more sensitive towards sunlight. use sunscreen or wear protective clothing before going out. Emigan Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Emigan Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. For prolonged use and repeated doses of Emigan Injection, observe the baby for excessive sleepiness.

Driving : UNSAFE

Emigan Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Emigan Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Emigan Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. However, caution is advised in patients with severe kidney disease as it may cause excessive sleepiness in them.

Liver : CAUTION

Emigan Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Emigan Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Emigan Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
