These include infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, and skin. It is also effective against a bacteria known as H. pylori, which is associated with peptic ulcer disease. It stops further growth of the bacteria causing the infection and helps treat your infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
Consuming alcohol with Klarim 500 Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
Klarim 500 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Klarim 500 Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Klarim 500 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Klarim 500 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Klarim 500 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Klarim 500 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Klarim 500 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Klarim 500 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
