Rapkostat Capsule Rapkostat Capsule is a polyherbal formulation for the treatment of essential and non-essential leucorrhea. Rapkostat Capsule contains Amalaki, Nagakesar, Ashoka, Yastimadhu, Shatavirya, Trikatu, Dhataki, Kakamachi, Vanga bhasma, and Kantaloha bhasma. Role of key ingredients: Amalaki inhibits the manufacture of fatty acids in the muscles and liver and thus arrests lipogenesis (prevents conversion of carbohydrates to fatty acids). Nagakesara relieves menorrhagia (uterine bleeding at irregular intervals). Ashoka possesses estrogenic properties which heal the inner lining of the uterus during menstruation. Yashtimadhu improves immunity and is an anti-bacterial. Shatavari is a rejuvenative tonic for the female reproductive system. Trikatu energizes and strengthens reproductive organs. Dhataki stops bleeding and prevents expulsion of fluids Kakamachi gives relief from menstrual pain.
