Oat Flour, gluten free flour made from oats, have conventionally been used for skin conditions such as irritable skin. It softens and moisturizes the skin and also reduces the incidence of wrinkles. Additionally the use of oat flour also reduces scarring. It serves as an anti-inflammatory ointment and prevents itching. Vitamin E, includes both tocopherols and tocotrienols. It protects the skin from environmental pollution. Additionally the acetate form of the vitamin is an excellent moisturizer with remarkable wound healing properties. Mineral Oil act as emollient for dry, itchy and burnt skin. Mineral oil applied over the skin prevents water loss and forms a barrier to the entry of any foreign entity.
