Role of key ingredients:- Cholecalciferol intake in pregnancy is optimal for maternal, fetal and child health.Deficiency of Cholecalciferol in pregnant women has been associated with problems to the developing foetus like: skeletal homeostasis, congenital rickets, and fractures in the newborn. Ferrous ascorbate is source of iron,Iron transports oxygen throughout the body and maintains red blood cells, thus making an individual feel energetic and preventing anemia. Folic acid is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anemia. Cyanocobalamin, a water-soluble vitamin, Cyanocobalamin is also closely involved with folic acid in several important metabolic pathways.
