One of the most common causes of anemia is a lack of iron in your body. Wayferol Oral Suspension prevents and treats anemia by improving the level of iron in the body. This helps reduce symptoms such as tiredness, weakness, reduced concentration, pale or yellow skin, brittle nails, dry hair, etc. Along with taking Wayferol Oral Suspension, include iron-rich foods like spinach, dates, organ meats like liver, iron-fortified cereals, etc.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Wayferol Oral Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Wayferol Oral Suspension is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

It is not known whether Wayferol Oral Suspension alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

There is limited information available on the use of Wayferol Oral Suspension in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

If you miss a dose of Wayferol Oral Suspension, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

    Ans: Wayferol Oral Suspension usually starts working within a few hours of taking it. If you are taking it for iron deficiency anemia, you may start feeling better after a few weeks of taking it. In case you are taking it during pregnancy, you may not notice any difference but this does not mean that the dose is not working. Continue taking Wayferol Oral Suspension for the duration recommended by your doctor.

    Ans: Animal studies on Wayferol Oral Suspension suggest that taking the medicine in excess along with a high-fat diet may lead to weight gain and fat accumulation. But this weight gain was not evident when taken along with a normal or low fat diet, even with excess Wayferol Oral Suspension. In humans, similar studies have not been conducted and therefore knowledge regarding weight gain is lacking. Therefore, if you are on Wayferol Oral Suspension then avoid excess Wayferol Oral Suspension and eat a low fat meal to be on a safer side.

    Ans: Maintaining the right level of iron and folic acid in the body before getting pregnant reduces the risk of developing neural tube defects in the baby. Neural tube effect, in most cases, is caused if the structure (neural tube) from which the central nervous system develops (brain and spinal cord) in a baby does not form or is only partially closed. Full closure of the neural tube occurs during the end of the fourth week of pregnancy. Folic acid helps in the formation of neural tubes. Therefore, to prevent this defect women should start Wayferol Oral Suspension before four weeks of pregnancy.

    Ans: Yes, you can breastfeed while taking Wayferol Oral Suspension as it is not harmful for the baby. Wayferol Oral Suspension contains folic acid as an active ingredient which is naturally found in the breast milk. It also contains iron but iron does not pass through breast milk. Though initial levels of folic acid in the breast milk are low, it rises eventually. Since it is actively secreted in breast milk, mother may take Wayferol Oral Suspension every day to maintain the required levels. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions related to nutrient supplementation in breastfeeding.
