In Dry cough A dry cough is a cough where no phlegm or mucus is produced. It may cause a tickling sensation or itching in the throat and may be due to cold, flu, allergies or throat irritants. Wancuf D Plus Syrup suppresses severe dry cough and gives you relief from an itchy throat. Apart from this, it also reduces symptoms of allergy like watery eyes, sneezing and runny nose. Along with taking Wancuf D Plus Syrup, gargling with warm salt water and having ginger or honey can help you manage dry cough.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Wancuf D Plus Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Wancuf D Plus Syrup is a medicine used to treat dry cough. It works by suppressing the cough reflex in the brain. It also thins the mucus and makes it easier to cough out. Before you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from any lung, liver or kidney disease. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.

Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Wancuf D Plus Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Wancuf D Plus Syrup may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby

Driving : UNSAFE

Wancuf D Plus Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.

Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Wancuf D Plus Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Wancuf D Plus Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Wancuf D Plus Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver : UNSAFE

Wancuf D Plus Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Wancuf D Plus Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
