In Treatment of Respiratory tract disorders associated with viscid mucus Wancold AM Tablet helps to loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out. This makes it easier for air to move in and out. It will relieve symptoms such as tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing and help you carry out your daily activities more easily. This medicine is safe and effective. It usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop using it unless you are advised to by your doctor. Taking this medicine enables you to live your life more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms.

Please consult your doctor. Use of Wancold AM Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver : UNSAFE

Wancold AM Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.

    Ans: No. Ambroxol is more effective in the treatment of productive cough associated with thickened mucus and poor mucus clearance

    Ans: No, Ambroxol is not known to make you sleepy.

    Ans: Dextromethorphan is a decongestant and not a steroid, antihistamine, opiate, NSAID or narcotic, but can have addictive effects if taken at large doses than recommended. It does not contain codeine or alcohol. It is not a controlled substance
