In Severe allergic reactions Vasocon Injection is used along with emergency medical treatment to treat life-threatening allergic reactions caused by insect bites or stings, foods, medications, latex, and other causes. It reduces allergic reactions by reducing inflammatory response caused by the release of a chemical called histamine, that is responsible for various symptoms of allergic reactions like shortness of breath, hives, swelling, inflammation etc. In Cardiac arrest Vasocon Injection contains a hormone called adrenaline, that stimulates the heart and promotes blood flow. It is a proven life-saving treatment for people whose heart s have stopped working all of a sudden due to an emergency condition called cardiac arrest. Its action is fast though it has a very short duration of action. It is given in an emergency condition to save life by a trained healthcare professional only.

Vasocon Injection is used in the treatment of life-threatening emergencies like severe allergic reaction and cardiac arrest. It rapidly relieves breathlessness and wheezing by relaxing the airways. It also stimulates the heart and increases the blood pressure. Vasocon Injection also improves the swelling of face or tongue and hives seen in allergic reaction. It is given under the supervision of a doctor. Doctor may closely monitor your blood pressure, heart rate or ECG till you became stable. You should continue all your other medicines that are advised by the doctor for your long-term treatment even after this injection. Common side effects associated with this medicine includes headache, restlessness, tremor, and palpitations. This medicine is used with caution for some people. Thus, if possible inform the doctor if you are suffering from any liver or kidney disease. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the other medications that you are taking regularly.

    Ans: Vasocon Injection should be injected only in the middle of the outer side of the thigh, and can be injected through clothing if necessary in an emergency.
