It does not treat an angina attack that has already begun and should not be used for this purpose. It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels in the heart. This makes it easier for blood to flow to the heart, so it gets more oxygen. This medicine thus helps to increase your ability to exercise and go about your daily life more easily and confidently. It should be taken regularly to be effective. In Controlling Heart failure Heart failure means your heart is weak and cannot pump enough blood to your lungs and the rest of your body. The most common symptoms are breathlessness, tiredness, and swelling in your legs, ankles, abdomen, and other parts of your body. Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body and is, therefore, an effective treatment for heart failure. This medicine will help relieve your symptoms, making you feel better and more energetic. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthily and keeping active) to help this medicine be effective. Take it regularly and keep taking it even if you feel better.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR is to be taken empty stomach.
Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR is used to prevent chest pain (angina attacks). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more easily to the heart. These tablets will not treat an angina attack that has already begun. They may be also used to control heart failure. Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR should be taken on an empty stomach. It is best taken at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide the dose and the number of times each day you should take them. You should take the medicine as it is prescribed for you and keep taking it, even if you feel well. If you stop taking it suddenly your risk of an angina attack will increase. Lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise, and not smoking may help this drug work better. You can develop tolerance to this medicine over time, which means that the same dose becomes less effective. You have to stick to a really specific dosing schedule to prevent this from happening. The most common side effects of this medicine include headache and lightheadedness. These may disappear once you have got used to the medicine. If you are worried, or the symptoms do not go away, let your doctor know. Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR is recommended. However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease.

Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Vasmocard 30mg Tablet CR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
