In Treatment of Irritable bowel syndrome Irritable bowel syndrome is a chronic (long-term) inflammatory disease of the large intestine (colon) that usually needs long term management. This can lead to bleeding, frequent diarrhea and abdominal pain. VSL 3 Lite Capsule can relieve these symptoms effectively. Continue taking VSL 3 Lite Capsule for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. VSL 3 Lite Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
VSL 3 Lite Capsule has good bacteria which have gastrointestinal (GI) protective properties and maintain a healthy digestive tract (stomach and intestines). It is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (symptoms include abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, and diarrhea or constipation) and ulcerative colitis. VSL 3 Lite Capsule is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should take this medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. Consult a doctor while taking any other medicine especially steroids or antibiotics along with this medicine. The most common side effects are bloating and flatulence. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time.
