In Depression Trima 150mg Tablet helps in maintaining the balance of certain chemicals in the brain that affect mood and behavior. It helps you sleep better and increases your energy levels. This improves your mood, relieves anxiety, tension, prevents extreme mood changes, and helps you feel less agitated. You may experience fewer episodes of depression and low mood. It can take several weeks for this medicine to work and you may still feel low during this time. It is likely that you will take this medicine for at least six months but possibly much longer. It needs to be taken regularly to work effectively. Do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Trima 150mg Tablet is to be taken with food. Avoid Trima 150mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
Trima 150mg Tablet helps treat depression. It reduces and gradually eliminates the symptoms of depression such as deep sadness, feelings of worthlessness, loss of interest in activities, sleep disturbances, tiredness, feelings of anxiety, and weight changes. Trima 150mg Tablet should be taken with food. However, it is advised to take it at a fixed time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. If you have missed any doses, take it as soon as you remember and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking it suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and dry mouth. Other side effects that may also be observed are constipation, restlessness, diarrhea, and agitation. However, these are temporary and usually resolve on their own in some time. Please consult your doctor if these do not subside or worry you. It even causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Before taking this medicine, please tell your doctor if you suffer from any liver problems or diabetes. If you have been taking this medicine for a long time, regular monitoring of blood and liver functions may be required. It is important to inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts. Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Trima 150mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving : SAFE

Trima 150mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Trima 150mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Trima 150mg Tablet is recommended.

Liver : CAUTION

Trima 150mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Trima 150mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Trima 150mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
