Tido Tablet works by killing the bacteria causing infection. This further reduces the discomforts associated with various infections and helps in early recovery. Make sure to complete the full course of treatment. This will ensure that the infection is completely cured and prevent it from returning.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tido Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol : UNSAFE

Consuming alcohol while taking Tido Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Tido Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life

threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Tido Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving : UNSAFE

Tido Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Tido Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Tido Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tido Tablet is recommended.

Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Tido Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tido Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Tido Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

    Ans: No, do not stop taking Tido Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
  • Q. Q. What if I don't get better after using Tido Tablet??
    Ans: Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
  • Q. Q. Can I drink milk while taking Tido Tablet??
    Ans: No, you should avoid using milk and milk products while taking Tido Tablet. Consuming dairy products along with Tido Tablet can decrease its absorption from the stomach, which may lead to inadequate affect of this medicine.
  • Q. Q. Why it is harmful to drink alcohol while using Tido Tablet??
    Ans: Alcohol should be strictly avoided while taking Tido Tablet and for at least 3 days after completely stopping the medicine. Drinking alcohol can cause an unpleasant reaction (Disulfuram reaction) with symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, flushing or redness of the face.
