Tamik BC Tablet is a combination medicine used to prevent bleeding. It helps in reducing bleeding during periods and after surgery. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Follow your doctor advice while taking this medicine. It is recommended to take the combination on the first day of your period as taking it before or after period will not make any affect. It may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, and nasal congestion. It may cause diarrhea, so its better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration. You must inform your doctor if you do not observe any changes in bleeding even after three menstrual periods. Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any vaginal bleeding or kidney disease. You must tell your doctor if you are pregnant, or planing a pregnancy.
