This medicine also helps to reduce risk of heart attack and stroke. TONACT Q CAPSULE can be taken with food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. You can help this medicine work better by making a few changes to your lifestyle such as keeping active, stopping smoking, eating a healthy low-fat diet and exercise regularly. Nausea, stomach pain, constipation, and muscle pain are some common side effects of this medicine. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. Let your doctor know if you notice yellowing of skin or eyes, unusually dark urine or dark stools as it might be symptoms of liver damage. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood sugar level, blood pressure, and liver function while taking this medicine. TONACT Q CAPSULE is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

TONACT Q CAPSULE is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving : UNSAFE

TONACT Q CAPSULE may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

There is limited information available on the use of TONACT Q CAPSULE in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : CAUTION

TONACT Q CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of TONACT Q CAPSULE may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of TONACT Q CAPSULE is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If you miss a dose of TONACT Q CAPSULE, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
