Suviray Injection is a calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor antagonist. It is used in the preventive treatment of migraine in adults. It works by blocking the receptors for the protein CGRP, thought to play a major role in starting migraines. Suviray Injection is given as an injection in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm subcutaneously. Before administering the injection, allow the medicine to be at room temperature for at least 30 minutes protected from direct sunlight. Do not warm by using a heat source such as hot water or a microwave. Do not inject the medicine into areas where the skin is tender, bruised, or hard. The most common side effects of this medicine are injection site reactions (such as pain, swelling, and redness) and constipation. It may also cause itching and muscle spasms in some people. If you experience such side effects that do not heal on their own or get worse, inform your doctor. They may be able to help you reduce or treat the side effects. Do not use Suviray Injection if you are allergic to erenumab or any ingredients of the medicine. Before using the doctor about all your medical conditions. To make sure it is safe for you, let your doctor also know if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Suviray Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Suviray Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving : SAFE

Suviray Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Suviray Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Suviray Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Suviray Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Suviray Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Suviray Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
