Suv Suspension is used in the treatment of ulcers in the stomach and intestine. It promotes the healing of ulcers by forming a coating over them which acts as a physical barrier. Suv Suspension is taken one hour before meals preferably at bedtime in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. Take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to prevent this. Dizziness and sleepiness may occasionally occur, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Do not take antacids within two hours of taking this medicine.

Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Suv Suspension is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.

Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Suv Suspension is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.

Driving : UNSAFE

Suv Suspension may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney : CAUTION

Suv Suspension should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Suv Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

There is limited information available on the use of Suv Suspension in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Suv Suspension, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
