In Treatment of Parasitic infections Sprot Plus 100 mg/125 mg/50 mg Suspension is given to treat parasitic infections such as diarrhea, amoebic dysentery, amoebic liver abscess, and giardiasis. It works by stopping the growth of parasites and also helps in clearing parasite cysts (carrier state). It is most likely that your child’s infection will start showing improvement within 3 to 5 days of the regular dosing. Make sure to complete the full course of treatment even if your child feels better. Stopping the medicine abruptly by yourself may worsen your child’s condition or cause infection recurrence.
