In Pain relief Sistal AP Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondolytis. It also helps to manage short term symptoms such as muscle and back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat if taken when the first sign of pain occurs. It works by reducing substances in the body that causes pain and swelling. Sistal AP Tablet also reduces fever associated with various painful conditions within 1-2 hour of taking a dose.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sistal AP Tablet is to be taken with food.
Sistal AP Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. Sistal AP Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose and duration will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by the doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, and indigestion. Driving : UNSAFE

Sistal AP Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney : CAUTION

Sistal AP Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sistal AP Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Sistal AP Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver : CAUTION

Sistal AP Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sistal AP Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. However, the use of Sistal AP Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Sistal AP Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

    Ans: Sistal AP Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, Trypsin and Chymotrypsin. This medicine helps in decreasing pain and swelling. It lowers the levels of chemical substances in the body that causes pain and swelling.
  • Q. Q. Can I get addicted to Sistal AP Tablet??
    Ans: No, there is no report of any patient getting addicted to Sistal AP Tablet.
  • Q. Q. Can I stop taking Sistal AP Tablet when my pain is relieved??
    Ans: Sistal AP Tablet is usually used for short term and can be discontinued when your pain is relieved. However, Sistal AP Tablet should be continued if your doctor has advised you to do so.
  • Q. Q. Can the use of Sistal AP Tablet cause dizziness??
    Ans: Yes, the use of Sistal AP Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.
  • Q. Q. Can the use of Sistal AP Tablet cause damage to kidneys??
    Ans: Yes, long-term use of Sistal AP Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage due to long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.
  • Q. Q. Can the use of Sistal AP Tablet cause damage to liver??
    Ans: Sistal AP Tablet contains Paracetamol. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Also, avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it may further increase your risk of liver damage. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage. These symptoms may include fever, rash, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, yellow skin or eyes and abnormal liver enzymes.
  • Q. Q. How long will Sistal AP Tablet take to act??
    Ans: It may take about an hour to see the initial benefit of pain relief after taking Sistal AP Tablet.
  • Q. Q. What if I forget to take Sistal AP Tablet??
    Ans: If you forget to take the scheduled dose of Sistal AP Tablet and it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose at the scheduled time. Otherwise, take it as soon as you remember, and then go back to taking your medicine as you would normally. Do not take a double dose to make up for the dose you missed because this may increase the risk of unwanted side effect. If you are not sure what to do, consult your doctor about how to manage a situation like this.
  • Q. Q. Will a higher than the recommended dose of Sistal AP Tablet be more effective??
    Ans: No, taking a higher than the recommended dose may not be more effective, rather it may increase the chances of having some serious side effects and toxicity. If you experience increased severity of your symptoms, that are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.

    Ans: The use of Sistal AP Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the component or excipients of this medicine.
