In Treatment of Mantle-cell lymphoma Mantle-cell lymphoma is a cancer of the white blood cells in our body, also called non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. White blood cells are those cells that help us to fight infections. Sirotem Injection helps to restrict cancer growth and also blocks the action of other chemicals that are required for cancer growth and further spread. Avoid being in crowds and wash your hands often to prevent any infections. Have plenty of fluids, unless otherwise advised by the doctor not to.

Sirotem Injection is used as a chemotherapy agent for the treatment of kidney cancer and mantle cell lymphoma (a type of cancer of lymph nodes immune cells). It works by blocking abnormal proteins that causes the multiplication of cancer cells. This helps in slowing the growth of tumors. Sirotem Injection is a prescription medicine that must be administered by a healthcare professional. You must receive the exact dose of it as per the prescription. An overdose of this medicine may have serious side effects on the body. Some common side effects of this medicine include rash, weakness, nausea, edema, loss of appetite, anemia, increased glucose level in the blood, increased blood lipid level, and increased alkaline phosphatase level in blood. If any of the side effects persist or bother you, consult the doctor immediately. Inform the doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reactions such as rash, shortness of breath, coughing, and swelling. Before taking this medicine, it is important to consult your doctor if you have any ongoing medication for any underlying disease. Pregnant and breastfeeding women must inform the doctor prior to the initiation of this treatment. During the treatment, your doctor may advise you for some laboratory tests to know the effects of the medicine in the body.

Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Sirotem Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life

threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Sirotem Injection is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving : SAFE

Sirotem Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Sirotem Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Sirotem Injection is recommended.

Liver : CAUTION

Sirotem Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Sirotem Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Sirotem Injection is not advised in some patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
