Rejection usually happens due to attack by the immune system of the person receiving the transplanted organ on the transplant itself, in people who are receiving kidney transplants. This medicine reduces the activity of a person's own immune system and prevents any such rejection.

Simulect Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Simulect Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Simulect Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
