Silkof Syrup suppresses dry cough and gives you relief from an itchy throat. Along with taking Silkof Syrup, gargling with warm salt water, and having ginger or honey can help you manage dry cough. Silkof Syrup will also relieve allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose and help you carry out your daily activities more easily. Take it as prescribed by the doctor.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Silkof Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Silkof Syrup is a medicine used to treat dry cough. It works by directly suppressing the cough reflex in the brain. Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Silkof Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Silkof Syrup may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby

Driving : UNSAFE

Silkof Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Silkof Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Silkof Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Silkof Syrup may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.

Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Silkof Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Silkof Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Silkof Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
