These include infections of the ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and eye in adults and children. It is also used for treating typhoid fever and some sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea. It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
Consuming alcohol with Rox N 150mg Tablet DT does not cause any harmful side effects.
Rox N 150mg Tablet DT is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Rox N 150mg Tablet DT is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Rox N 150mg Tablet DT may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Rox N 150mg Tablet DT is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Rox N 150mg Tablet DT may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Rox N 150mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rox N 150mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Rox N 150mg Tablet DT, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
