In Treatment of Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) Pulmonary arterial hypertension can cause shortness of breath, tiredness, dizziness, chest pain and swelling in your ankles and legs. It is caused by thickening of walls of the arteries that supply your lungs making it hard for blood to get through. Riopah 1mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels and can help lower the blood pressure in the arteries of your lungs. You will be able to carry out your daily activities more easily and feel less tired or dizzy.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Riopah 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Riopah 1mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs). It helps to improve your exercising ability and will prevent the disease from getting worse. Riopah 1mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and take it at the same time each day to help you remember. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without talking to your doctor. Common side effects of this medicine include headache, indigestion, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, hypotension, vomiting, anemia, gastroesophageal reflux, and constipation. Avoid driving or doing anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Generally, most of its side effects usually resolve on their own and do not need any medical attention. However, you should consult with the doctor if you are bothered by any of the side effects. Before using this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any preexisting medical conditions. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. Additionally, if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. As it may cause harmful effects to the developing baby.

Riopah 1mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.

Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR

Riopah 1mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving : UNSAFE

Riopah 1mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. It may cause dizziness in some people. If this happens you should not drive or use machines.

Kidney : CAUTION

Riopah 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Riopah 1mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : CAUTION

Riopah 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Riopah 1mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
