Promycin D Eye Drop is a prescription medicine having a combination of medicines that is used to treat bacterial eye infections. It stops the growth of bacteria and helps in relieving redness, itching and swelling. Promycin D Eye Drop is to be used only in the affected eye. Read the label carefully for instruction before you use the medicine. Use it in the exact dose and duration as advised by the doctor or as instructed in the label. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Complete your dose even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may bring back the infection. Use of this medicine may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. These are usually temporary and resolve with time. If you miss a dose of Promycin D Eye Drop, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
