In Prevention of Premature Labor Progestad 250mg Tablet is a man-made, injectable form of the female hormone called progesterone, that helps lower the risk of delivering the baby too early (premature labor), particularly in women who have had this complication in an earlier pregnancy. Progesterone is a hormone that thickens the lining of the uterus and prepares it for the growth and development of the baby. So, it helps your uterus grow during pregnancy and also prevents any contractions that can otherwise lead to miscarriage.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Progestad 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Progestad 250mg Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
