In Nausea Pasetron Injection blocks the action of chemicals in the body that can make you feel or be sick. It is often used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with cancer treatment such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy in adults as well as children. This medicine helps you recover more comfortably from these treatments. Pasetron Injection is also effective at preventing nausea and vomiting after an operation (in adults only). Pasetron Injection is given as an injection by a doctor, in the dose that is best for you, depending on the condition you are being treated for. Do not self-administer this medicine to avoid any undesirable side effects.
It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Pasetron Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Pasetron Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Pasetron Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Pasetron Injection may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Pasetron Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Pasetron Injection is recommended.
Pasetron Injection is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Pasetron Injection is recommended.
If you miss a dose of Pasetron Injection, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
