In Local ocular anesthesia P Caine Eye Drop is an eye anesthetic and is used to numb the eye before surgery (such as cataract), certain tests to prevent pain during the procedure. It works by blocking the pain signals reaching the eye. It works quite quickly and allows carrying out of the procedure without causing pain and distress.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.
