In Treatment of Bacterial infections Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine and is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as meningitis (infection of the brain), pneumonia (infection of the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), pelvic inflammatory disease (infection of the female reproductive organs that may cause infertility) and infections of ear, abdomen, urinary tract, skin, bones and joints. Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet is also sometimes given before certain types of surgery to prevent infections that may develop after the operation.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
