In Treatment of Mouth ulcers Mouth ulcers are small painful sores on inner lips, gums, tongue, roof of the mouth or throat that may interfere with eating, drinking and even talking. Orasep Gel blocks chemicals in our brain that are responsible for pain sensation and inflammation. Therefore it provides relief from pain, discomfort and symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling or burning sensation due to mouth ulcers. This makes it easier for you to go about your daily activities. Continue using it as advised by the doctor to get maximum benefit.

This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
Orasep Gel is a combination of two medicines is used to treat mouth ulcers. It reduces the pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation of the ulcers. It also inhibits the growth of bacteria and helps in the rapid healing of ulcers. Orasep Gel is strictly advised for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only on the affected areas of the mouth. It should not be used in excess amount and also avoid swallowing it. In case of accidental contact with your eye, rinse it off with plenty of water. This medicine is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, and rashes on application, you should consult a doctor immediately.

    Ans: The use of Orasep Gel should be avoided in children. This medicine contains choline salicylate and the use of salicylates is supposed to cause Reye's syndrome. This syndrome affects the brain and liver, and can be fatal. Avoid the use of Orasep Gel if you have an allergy to salicylates or Aspirin.
  • Q. Q. What precautions should be taken while using Orasep Gel??
    Ans: Inform your doctor if you are taking Aspirin or any other medicine with an anticoagulant (blood thinning) activity. Orasep Gel contains salicylates and together, they may increase the risk of bleeding.
