In Bacterial infections Metrocline Capsule stops the growth of infectious bacteria and helps treat infections caused by bacteria. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.
Consuming alcohol while taking Metrocline Capsule may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Metrocline Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life

term because milk levels are low. Prolonged or repeated use may cause staining of babies dental enamel or bone deposition of Metrocline Capsule.
Metrocline Capsule may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Metrocline Capsule may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
Metrocline Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Metrocline Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Metrocline Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

If you miss a dose of Metrocline Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
