In Allergic conditions Lyzevac Plus Tablet provides relief from allergic symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing and itchy or watery eyes caused by seasonal hay fever (allergic rhinitis), seasonal allergies, and allergies to other substances such as dust mites, fumes etc. It works by reducing certain substances in the body that are responsible for the allergic symptoms. Take Lyzevac Plus Tablet as prescribed by the doctor at around the same time every day. The best way to prevent allergic symptoms is to minimise exposure to allergens (things that you are allergic to) as much as possible.
Lyzevac Plus Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Lyzevac Plus Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Lyzevac Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Larger doses or prolonged use of Lyzevac Plus Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Lyzevac Plus Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Lyzevac Plus Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lyzevac Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Lyzevac Plus Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of Lyzevac Plus Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Lyzevac Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
