Product Informations: Lupiclox Tablet DT

In Treatment of Bacterial infections Lupiclox Tablet DT is a combination of two antibiotics, Ampicillin and Dicloxacillin. These antibiotics work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Together, they treat your infection effectively. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Kidney : CAUTION

Lupiclox Tablet DT is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Lupiclox Tablet DT is recommended.

    Ans: It is advised not to give Lupiclox Tablet DT to children if they have jaundice. The reason being, Lupiclox Tablet DT contains an active ingredient called cloxacillin which can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child.

    Ans: No, it is not advised to give Lupiclox Tablet DT if your child is suffering from infectious mononucleosis or even leukemia as Lupiclox Tablet DT can lead to the development of skin rashes.

However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.
