  Ans: It is advised not to give Lupiclox Tablet DT to children if they have jaundice. The reason being, Lupiclox Tablet DT contains an active ingredient called cloxacillin which can aggravate the symptoms of jaundice in your child.
• Q. Q. Is Lupiclox Tablet DT safe for children suffering from infectious mononucleosis??
  Ans: No, it is not advised to give Lupiclox Tablet DT if your child is suffering from infectious mononucleosis or even leukemia as Lupiclox Tablet DT can lead to the development of skin rashes.
• Q. Q. Can I give Lupiclox Tablet DT to my child repeatedly for a long time??
  Ans: Giving your child Lupiclox Tablet DT for a long term can cause fungal infection (oral thrush) in the mouth and severe gastrointestinal infections (superinfections). Moreover, irregular treatment, repeated use, and misuse of Lupiclox Tablet DT can make the bacteria resistant. Therefore, do not alter the dose and duration on your own and give Lupiclox Tablet DT to your child exactly as prescribed.

  Ans: Although rare, Lupiclox Tablet DT may cause some serious side effects such as skin rash, allergy, superinfection, bleeding problems, seizures, and blood cell abnormalities. In case your child develops any of these symptoms, consult the doctor at the earliest.

  Ans: Antibiotics usually do not interfere with the ingredients in vaccines or cause a bad reaction in a child who has just been vaccinated. However, children taking antibiotics should not get vaccinated until they recover from the illness. As soon as your child feels better, the vaccine can be given.
