It promotes the desire to eat and therefore, it is a safe and effective way of managing undernutrition or malnutrition. It helps to treat loss of appetite and improves the nutritional status.
Lupactin 4mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Lupactin 4mg Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Lupactin 4mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. Unless Lupactin 4mg Tablet is used to lower the prolactin levels in the mother, it should be avoided as it might interfere with breastfeeding.
Lupactin 4mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Lupactin 4mg Tablet may cause dizziness, sedation, and hypotension in elderly patients. This may affect your ability to drive.
Lupactin 4mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lupactin 4mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
There is limited information available on the use of Lupactin 4mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Lupactin 4mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
