In Bacterial infections Lectimox CV 1.2gm Injection contains two different medicines, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause infections. Amoxycillin works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria. It also contains probiotics that help restore the useful bacteria, improve digestion and enhance overall health. This combination medicine can be used to treat many different bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin, teeth, joints, and bones. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Lectimox CV 1.2gm Injection should only be administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Do not miss any scheduled appointments for taking this medicine. The course of the treatment must be completed even if you feel better. Sudden discontinuation of the treatment may affect the potency of the medicine. Some common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, etc. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.     Ans: Lectimox CV 1.2gm Injection is considered to be harmful for patients with a history of allergic reactions to any penicillin. It is also avoided in patients with a previous history of cholestatic jaundice/liver dysfunction associated with the medicine.

    Ans: Lectimox CV 1.2gm Injection may be taken every 8 hours or every 12 hours, depending on the dose prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken with a meal or snack to reduce the possibility of getting an upset stomach. Many antibiotics can cause diarrhea.
