It also helps get rid of excess water. This helps to lower your blood pressure and makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. When your blood pressure is lower, you are less at risk of having a heart attack or a stroke. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes to help this medicine be effective and you need to take it regularly. In Treatment of Edema Laxide 40mg Tablet works by increasing the amount of urine produced. This helps your body get rid of extra water thereby relieving symptoms such as shortness of breath and swelling in your arms, legs, or abdomen. This will help you go about your daily activities more easily and make you more confident about being active. Take it regularly and make appropriate lifestyle changes to help this medicine be effective.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Laxide 40mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

However, use of Laxide 40mg Tablet is not recommended in severe kidney disease patients who are unable to pass urine or the kidney damage is due to some medicines. Please inform your doctor.

Liver : CAUTION

Laxide 40mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Laxide 40mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

If you miss a dose of Laxide 40mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
