Ibufen Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. Ibufen Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it strictly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. This medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, restlessness, and increased heart rate. It works by lowering the chemical substance in the body which causes pain, fever and inflammation. The presence of Caffeine increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol.

  Ans: Ibufen Tablet is usually used for a short term and can be discontinued when symptoms are relieved. However, Ibufen Tablet should be continued if the doctor has advised to do so.

  Ans: Yes, the use of Ibufen Tablet can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. If you start to experience vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips.   Ans: The use of Ibufen Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to painkillers (NSAIDs) or any of the components or excipients of this medicine. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure or any underlying liver or kidney disease.

Use of painkillers lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body which leads to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended in patients with underlying kidney disease.
