In Worm infections Helminthex 50mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine which helps treat many parasitic worm infections. It works by killing and stopping the further growth of parasites causing the infection. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor. In Schistosoma infections Schistosoma infections or Schistosomiasis, also known as snail fever and bilharzia, is a disease caused by parasitic flatworms called schistosomes. In this disease, the urinary tract or the intestines may be infected. The most common symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloody stool, or blood in the urine. Helminthex 50mg Tablet helps to treat Schistosoma infections. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Helminthex 50mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Helminthex 50mg Tablet is an anti-helminthic medication. It is used in the treatment of worm infections and Schistosoma infection. It works by killing the worms that cause infection and thus, treats your infection. Helminthex 50mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned. Some people may experience headaches, nausea, vomiting, abnormal liver function tests, and hair loss as the side effects of this medicine. Please consult your doctor if these do not resolve or persist for a longer duration. You may be monitored with blood tests and liver function tests throughout your treatment.
