Harmoni-F Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), as it helps to regularize the menstrual cycle. It also treats severe acne and hirsutism (excess hair growth, mainly on face and chest) in women. Harmoni-F Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as per your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. It also works as a contraceptive, so better to avoid taking any other hormonal pills while taking this medicine. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, headache, breast pain, and mood changes. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. Cyproterone works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries, thereby reducing unwanted hair growth and acne. Ethinyl Estradiol enhances the effect of Cyproterone by reducing the amount of androgens in the blood circulation.

  Ans: Harmoni-F Tablet has to be started on day 1 or 2 of your natural cycle (first day of menstrual bleeding). Take it as per the duration advised by your doctor. However, it is recommended to take it at the same time each day. This will ensure consistent levels of medicine in your body.
