In Bleeding Hamostat 500mg Injection helps control excessive bleeding in various conditions such as surgeries like heart related surgeries, heavy bleeding during periods, nosebleeds or even cancer. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse and should not be self-administered. It prevents damage to clots, enhances clot formation and helps prevent complications of excessive bleeding such as hemorrhage.

Hamostat 500mg Injection is used to treat bleeding. It helps to prevent bleeding after major heart surgery and it also controls bleeding in thrombocytopenia (accompanying aplastic anemia), liver cirrhosis, urinary bleeding, and some types of cancer. Hamostat 500mg Injection works by preventing the breakdown of clots which leads to the stoppage of bleeding. This injection must be administered under the supervision of a healthcare professional. You should not self-administer this medicine at home. The most common side effects may be injection site reactions, musculoskeletal pain, nasal congestion, and tiredness. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects persist or get worse.
