HAVpur Junior Vaccine helps your body develop immunity by forming antibodies that your body needs for protection against hepatitis A virus. It is usually recommended for people who are at high risk of contracting hepatitis A. It is given by an injection into a muscle and should be administered at least 2 weeks prior to expected exposure.

HAVpur Junior Vaccine is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
HAVpur Junior Vaccine is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
It is not known whether HAVpur Junior Vaccine alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
