In Epilepsy/Seizures Gladlac 100mg Tablet is an anticonvulsant (or anti-epileptic) medicine that works by decreasing the nerve impulses which cause the seizures. By controlling the frequency of seizures, it will help you go about your daily activities with more confidence. It helps reduce symptoms such as confusion, uncontrollable jerking movements, loss of awareness, and fear or anxiety. This medicine is not associated with any physical or psychological dependence (addiction) but it should not be stopped suddenly. It must be taken regularly as prescribed to be effective. Missing doses may trigger a seizure.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Gladlac 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Gladlac 100mg Tablet is used to control and prevent epilepsy (seizures). It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Gladlac 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time, each day. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases, so it is better to keep an extra stock always to avoid a missed dose. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems, before starting your treatment with this medicine. The use of this medicine may cause some side effects such as headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, and diplopia (double vision). Most of these side effects are self-limiting and they usually improve with time. Keep a watch on your weight, as using this medicine can cause weight gain. Eat healthily and exercise regularly to manage it.

Gladlac 100mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving : UNSAFE

Gladlac 100mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. Gladlac 100mg Tablet may cause dizziness or blurred vision. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney : CAUTION

Gladlac 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gladlac 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver : CAUTION

Gladlac 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Gladlac 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Gladlac 100mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

If you miss a dose of Gladlac 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Consult your doctor if you experience any problems while being on treatment with Gladlac 100mg Tablet. The doctor may adjust the dose or gradually reduce the dose.
