In Osteoporosis Osteoporosis is a common condition that causes bones to become fragile and brittle so that they break (fracture) more easily. Fractures may be painful and restrict a person’s ability to carry out their normal daily tasks. Forjet Plus Tablet reduces the risk of a fracture occurring in osteoporosis. It also helps in the growth and development of bones as well as maintain strong bones. Since osteoporosis doesn’t usually have any symptoms such as pain (until a fracture occurs) you might not ‘feel’ any immediate benefit from your treatment with Forjet Plus Tablet. Keep taking it untill your doctor asks you to stop. Along with medicines, eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D like dairy products, green leafy vegetables etc.
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Forjet Plus Tablet. Please consult your doctor.
Forjet Plus Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Forjet Plus Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. If you are taking Forjet Plus Tablet during breastfeeding, monitor baby's blood calcium levels during the first two months.
Forjet Plus Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Forjet Plus Tablet is not expected to have any effects but in rare cases, it may cause dizziness, severe muscle, joint and bone pain and eye pain or inflammation. This may affect your ability to drive.
Forjet Plus Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Forjet Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
