It works by killing the worms and stopping the further growth of parasites causing the infection. These killed worms are then passed out along with stools. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all parasites are killed and do not become resistant. This medicine is generally safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding, but you should ask your doctor. In Treatment of Intestinal amoebiasis Intestinal amoebiasis is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms of amoebiasis include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Entroquine 125mg Tablet helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Entroquine 125mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Entroquine 125mg Tablet belongs to the class of drugs known as intestinal amebicides. It is used to treat worm infections and infections of the intestine caused by an organism called amoeba (intestinal amebiasis).
