In Treatment of Bacterial infections Elores 1.5gm Injection is an antibiotic medicine and is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as meningitis (infection of the brain), pneumonia (infection of the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), pelvic inflammatory disease (infection of the female reproductive organs that may cause infertility) and infections of ear, abdomen, urinary tract, skin, bones and joints. Elores 1.5gm Injection is also sometimes given before certain types of surgery to prevent infections that may develop after the operation.
