EM Infusion is an antibiotic medicine used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It is effective in infections of the respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia), urinary tract, ear, nasal sinus, throat, and some sexually transmitted diseases. EM Infusion works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This helps to improve your symptoms and cure the underlying infection. It is given as an injection directly into a vein or a muscle under the supervision of a doctor or a nurse. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you. You should not self-administer this medicine. Get the injection regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, and indigestion. These are usually mild but let your doctor know if they bother you or last more than a few days. Your doctor may be able to help you minimize the side effects by adjusting your dose or prescribing an alternate medicine. Before using it, you should let your doctor know if you are allergic to any antibiotics or have any kidney or liver problems. Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

EM Infusion is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby. Avoid prolonged use of EM Infusion, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.

Driving : SAFE

EM Infusion does not usually affect your ability to drive.
