Product Informations: Dapsone Tablet

In Leprosy Dapsone Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that is used in combination with few other medicines to treat leprosy, an infectious disease that mainly affects the skin, eyes, nose and peripheral nerves. It may take time to reach the effective dose as the medication is started at a low dose and increased slowly over time to avoid side effects. However, once the effective dose is reached, it starts showing improvement in your condition within a few days. In Treatment of Acne Dapsone Tablet is an antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria causing acne on your skin. It may take several weeks before your symptoms improve so you need to keep taking this medicine even if it appears not to be working. Sometimes acne may get worse before it gets better, however, with proper use, your skin will get clearer. The earlier you start taking it, the less likely you are to get scars.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dapsone Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
