Product Informations: Curosurf 120mg Injection

In Respiratory distress syndrome (immature lungs in preterm baby) Respiratory distress syndrome occurs when there is not enough surfactant in the lungs. Surfactant is a liquid made by the lungs that keeps the airways (alveoli) open. Curosurf 120mg Injection provides a fatty coating on the lung surface of the baby, prevents collapse of the lungs, and sticking together while breathing in and out. This helps the airways in your lungs stay open and also relax the muscles of these airways. As a result, it is easier for air to get in and out of the lungs of the baby. It is given as an injection by a doctor or nurse. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.
Curosurf 120mg Injection is used for respiratory distress syndrome (immature lungs in preterm baby).
