In Bacterial infections Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection contains two different medicines, Cefepime and Tazobactum, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause infections. Cefipime works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Tazobactum reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefipime against bacteria. Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection can be used to treat many different bacterial infections. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.
Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection. Please consult your doctor.
Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cedil 250 mg/31.25 mg Injection may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
